Co-President: Tamara Villalon
Tamara Villalon is an International Studies Major with a concentration in Business Management in the class of 2019. She currently serves as Co-President of Women in Business after having been Vice-President last year. Outside of the organization she is a Teacher’s Assistant for the Introduction to Business Class, serves on the Advisory Board to the Career Center, is a member of Alpha Kappa Psi (co-ed business fraternity) and is also involved in Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority.
Co-President: Alyssa Karbel
Alyssa Karbel is an Economics major and Entrepreneurship and Management minor in the class of 2020. She currently serves as Co-President of Women in Business after having been Secretary and Co-Corporate Development Chair in the past. Outside of Women in Business, Alyssa researches for Professor Steve Hanke on campus and is a member of the Marshal L. Salant Investment Team, a PILOT leader, and a member of the JHU Club Softball team.
Vice-President: Rachel Yuh
Rachel Yuh is an Applied Math & Statistics major with a minor in Entrepreneurship & Management and Accounting & Financial Management in the class of 2020. She currently serves on the exec board of Women in Business as the Vice President, and has served as the Co-Public Relations Chair in the past. Outside of Women in Business, Rachel is involved in the Hopkins Hosting Society, Club Volleyball Team, Blue Key Society, and several other clubs on campus.
Treasurer: Katie McCarren
Katie McCarren is a Biomedical Engineering major and an Entrepreneurship and Management minor in the class of 2020. Currently, she serves as the Treasurer on the exec board for Women in Business. Outside of Women in Business, she is the CEO of Hopkins Student Enterprises and the Networking Chair of Alpha Kappa Psi as well as conducting neuroscience research in the Shuler lab.
Corporate Development: Sarah Condon
Sarah Condon is an Economics major and Financial Economics and Accounting & Financial minor in the class of 2020 from Boston, Massachusetts. This is her second year as Co- Corporate Development Chair on the Women in Business exec board. Outside of Women in Business, she is President of Alpha Kappa Psi, involved in the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, and plays club soccer.
Corporate Development: Lindsay Ofori
Lindsay Ofori is a double major in International Studies and French with a minor in Business in the class of 2021. Within Women in Business, she serves as a Co-Corporate Development Chair on the exec board. Outside of Women in Business, she is involved with the International Studies Leadership Council, Blue Key Society, and the Alumni Student Ambassadors.
Membership Chair: Neha Onteeru
Neha Onteeru is a Computer Science major with a Business minor in the class of 2019. She co-founded Women in Business during her Sophomore year and served as Co-President for two years, and currently serves as the Membership Chair. Outside of Women in Business, Neha works for the Admissions Office and is on the board of South Asian Students at Hopkins.
Public Relations: Kelly Yaur
Kelly Yaur is a Computer Engineering Major with a Entrepreneurship and Management minor in the class of 2020. She was previously Co-Corporate Development Chair for Women in Business, and has since transitioned to Co-Public Relations Chair. Outside of Women in Business, she is involved with Engineers Without Borders.
Public Relations: Katie Jackson
Katie Jackson is a Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering major from St. Louis, Missouri in the class of 2021. She currently serves on the Women in Business exec board as the Co-Public Relations Chair. Outside of Women in Business, she works as a Resident Advisor and a swim instructor at the campus Rec Center and conducts cancer research in the Sofou Lab.
Secretary: Shilpa Saxena
Shilpa Saxena is a Cognitive Science major and Business minor from Austin, Texas in the class of 2020. She currently serves as the Secretary on the exec board of Women in Business. Outside of Women in Business, Shilpa is the Executive Assistant for her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, and is a member of the JHU Consulting Club.
Events Chair: Audrey Tao
Audrey Yani Tao is a Public Health Studies and Economics major in the class of 2020. She has also decided to pursue a minor in Marketing and Communications. Audrey currently serves as the Events Chair in Women in Business.
